Chapter meeting dates/times:
11 monthly meetings per year, 3rd Tuesday of the month except August, from 8:30-11:30 am

Why should I attend?
Chapter meetings are a great way to make professional contacts, network, discover new resources, and develop new skills.

Chapter program:
A segment of each meeting is dedicated to the introduction of members and non-members. We encourage all attendees to make announcements about upcoming events, news related to the field, and job opportunities. After announcements, an educational training is presented.

Continuing education:
Each training provides a minimum of 1.5 pre-approved professional development hours (PDH).

Cost to attend meeting:
Members - no cost
Non-members - A $15 guest fee will be charged to non-members and a $5 guest fee will be charged for full time students with a current, validated I.D. (There will be a $10 surcharge for all returned checks.)

Basic Concepts in Identifying and Treating Domestic Violence
Participants will be able to:
Identify the basics in the incidence of and intervention for domestic violence
Understand a model of treatment for perpetrators
Identify abusive behavior, identify community resources for intervention, and understand the specialty nature of working with perpetrators of domestic violence
Presenter: Anthony S. Mastroianni, MSW, LSW was previously a Program Co-coordinator at the Men's Counseling Center of Southwestern PA., Second Step Program. He is currently in private practice providing services for individuals, families, couples and groups.
