Meeting location:
El Dorado Restaurant at 460 S. Broadway, Tarrytown, NY (Intersection of Tappan Zee, Rt. 9 and Rt. 119)
Chapter meeting dates/times:
10 monthly meetings per year (no meeting July and August)
We meet regularly the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9:00 am – 11:30 am
Why should I attend?
Chapter meetings are a great way to make professional contacts, network, discover new resources, and develop new skills.
Chapter program:
A segment of each meeting is dedicated to the introduction of members and non-members. We encourage all attendees to make
announcements about upcoming events, news related to the field, and job opportunities. After announcements, an educational training is presented.
Continuing education:
Each training provides a minimum of 1.5 pre-approved professional development hours (PDH).
Cost to attend meeting: members - no cost
non-members - First meeting - free, then $20.00. Join at the time of the meeting to waive non-member fee.

"Should I Tweet, Friend or Get LinkedIn?"
Presenter: Marina London, LCSW, CEAP
Marina London is the author of of iWebU, (http://iwebu.blogspot.com), a weekly blog about the Internet and new
media for mental health professionals who are technophobic. She lectures nationally on the use of cutting edge
technologies for mental health and other professionals. She previously worked as a clinical social
worker, had a private practice and served as an executive for several national Employee Assistance
Programs. She is currently the Web Editor for the Employee Assistance Professionals Association.
Program Description:
The media is all a-flutter with talk of Twitter and other forms of social networking. This presentation includes
LIVE demonstrations on how to use Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to grow your private practice, market your
EAP, or network with your fellow professionals.
