Geographical area served:
Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area, encompassing all of the suburbs and surrounding villages. We reach as far as Northern Indiana and Southern Wisconsin.

Chapter meeting dates/times:
Five meetings per year: February, April, August, October, and December. They are held on the fourth Friday of the month, except for the December meeting, which is held earlier in the month. Meetings are from 8:30 am -11:30 am. We also have an annual one-day Conference in June.

Why should I attend?
Chapter meetings are a great way to make professional contacts, network, discover new resources, and develop new skills.

Chapter program:
A segment of each meeting is dedicated to the introduction of members and non-members. We encourage all attendees to make announcements about upcoming events, news related to the field, and job opportunities. After announcements, an educational training is presented.

Continuing education:
Each training provides a minimum of 1.5 pre-approved professional development hours (PDH).

Cost to attend meeting:
Members - no cost
Non-members - $30; Full-time students $5. Once a year there will be one NIEAPA Chapter Meeting that will be FREE of CHARGE to non-members. The dates will vary each year. Please visit our website, www.nieapa.org, or contact nieapa@comcast.net for further information.
